Forgetting

Mark 8:18 Having eyes do you not see, and having ears do you not hear? And do you not remember?

The disciples had just witnessed an amazing miracle in which a small amount of food had fed a massive crowd.  Twice.  And still they were talking amongst themselves about their lack of bread, having completely missed the point of what Jesus was saying.  How forgetful.

How like me.  You’ve done so much for me.  The greatest miracle of all is You saving me by grace.  How often do I forget and try to save myself by ‘being good’?  Help me Lord to always remember what You’ve done for me and to trust in You to get me through today.
